The short version

• We only collect your email if you join the waitlist, plus anything you choose to write to us.
• We don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies on everness.net.
• You can unsubscribe in one click and ask us to delete your data at any time.

Everness LLC ("Everness," "we," "us") runs everness.net and the Everness waitlist. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. It covers everness.net and the emails we send.

1. Information we collect

• Your email address, if you join the waitlist. Giving it is optional; without it we just can't send you waitlist emails.
• What you write to us, if you email us or reply to one of our emails.
• Basic visit information, such as your browser, device type, the page you viewed, the site that referred you and your approximate country. This comes from our hosting and analytics.

Email confirmation and tracking

When you join the waitlist, we send a confirmation email first, and you're only added once you click to confirm. Like most email services, our emails can tell us whether a message was opened and which links were clicked.

Cookies and analytics

everness.net doesn't use cookies for tracking or advertising. Our host, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie that helps block bots and attacks; it isn't used to track you. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, and Cloudflare says it uses no cookies or local storage for this and doesn't fingerprint visitors.

Online tracking and Do Not Track

We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking tools, and no third party is allowed to track your activity across other websites through everness.net. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because we don't track visitors across websites, we treat everyone the same way whether or not that signal is sent.

2. How we use it

We use your email to send launch news, early access invites and occasional updates about Everness. We use what you write to us to answer you and to learn what people want from the app. We use visit information and email open and click counts to keep the site working and to see what's useful. We may look at these numbers in summary form, which doesn't identify anyone. We don't use your information to build a profile of you, and we don't use it for advertising.

3. Sharing

We don't sell or rent your information. We only share it in these cases:

• Service providers that run the site and send email for us, and only to provide that service:
  • beehiiv hosts the waitlist signup page, stores the list and sends our emails, including the open and click tracking above. beehiiv's privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare hosts everness.net, protects it from attacks and provides our analytics. As our host it processes your IP address to deliver pages and keep the site secure. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site. Your browser requests the fonts from Google's servers, which shares your IP address and browser details with Google. No Google cookies are set by this. Google's privacy policy.
  • Proton hosts our email inbox, so messages you send to [email protected] are stored there. Proton's privacy policy.
• If Everness is sold or merged, your information may move to the new owner, who would have to keep protecting it under this policy.
• If the law requires it, for example to answer a valid legal request or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
• With your consent, in any other case.

4. Your choices, updates and deletion

• Unsubscribe any time with the link at the bottom of every email.
• See, correct or delete what we hold about you, or get a copy of it, by emailing [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm the request from the same email address. We'll reply within 30 days.

How long we keep it. We keep your waitlist email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe, we may keep a record of the address only so you aren't emailed again by mistake. If you ask us to delete your data, we remove it completely. We keep emails you send us only as long as we need them to follow up with you.

If you're in the EU, UK or a similar region

Everness LLC is responsible for your data. We rely on your consent to send waitlist emails, which you can withdraw at any time, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website and answering your messages. You can also object to or restrict our use of your data, and complain to your local data protection authority.

5. Links to other websites

The waitlist signup page is hosted by beehiiv, and our site links to other services. Those sites have their own privacy policies, including any cookies they set, and this policy doesn't cover them.

6. Security

We use reputable providers, keep access to our accounts limited and protected, and collect as little as we can. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care with what you share.

7. International users

We're based in the United States, and our providers process data in the United States and other countries. If you're outside the US, your information will be transferred there. Where the law requires it, our providers use recognized safeguards for these transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll tell people on the waitlist by email before it takes effect.
